Urban CPI increased by 3.8 percent on annual basis (October 2024 compared to October 2023) and it increased by 1.5 percent on monthly basis (October 2024 to September 2024).The annual average inflation rate between October 2024 and October 2023 was 5.1 percent.
In October 2024, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’ decreased by 1 percent on annual basis and it increased by 3.7 percent on monthly basis. ‘Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels’ increased by 4.8 percent on annual basis and it increased by 0.8 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 15.9 percent on annual basis and it was stable on monthly basis.
The “local products” increased by 3.3 percent on annual change and it increased by 1.9 percent on monthly basis, while prices of the “imported products” increased by 5.5 percent on annual basis and it increased by 0.4 percent on monthly basis.
The prices of the “fresh products” increased by 0.8 percent on annual change and it increased by 4.5 percent on monthly basis.
The prices of the “energy” increased by 1 percent on annual change and it increased by 0.3 on monthly basis.
The prices of the “general Index excluding fresh products and energy” increased by 5.2 percent on annual change and it increased by 0.7 percent on monthly basis.
