The output of manufacturing activities increased by 13.7 percent. The increase in manufacturing activities is due to a 10.5 percent increase in food processing and a 21.7 percent increase in manufacturing of beverages and tobacco products.
However, manufacturing of textiles, clothing & leather decreased by 42.1 percent.
Activities performed as follows:
➢ Mining and quarrying increased by 2.5 percent
➢ Manufacturing increased by 13.7 percent
➢ Electricity increased by 12.2 percent; and
➢ Water & waste management increased by 12.5 percent
