Water statistics

The total quantity of water produced in 2024 stood at 78.3 million cubic meters from 73.3 million cubic meters reported in 2023.  Between 2023 and 2024, the number of water customers increased from 321,115    up to 357,086 customers respectively.

Energy statistics

Rwanda's electricity consumption has continuously grown, reaching approximately 211.1 million kilowatt by 2023 up from 178.9 million in 2023 kilowatt for domestic and residential facilities.

In the health facility sector, energy consumption ranges from an increase from 21 million kilowatt up to 22.6 million kilowatt between 2022 and 2023

Transport statistics

The total network for roads countrywide is 44,671km of which 2,063 km is paved.  As of December 2023, a total of 330,166 personal and commercial vehicles were registered to drivers in Rwanda.  Motors are the most popular vehicle type, with 177,187 private and commercial motors  registrations in 2023, compared to 51,262 registrations for cars during the same period.

Tourism statistics

Rwanda has recorded a total of 80,089 visitors arriving by air, 631,990 arriving by road. Majority of the travelers were from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), East African Community (EAC) member countries and Europe

The majority of visitors traveled for the purpose of business (196,957), visit (121,754) and holiday (37,259) respectively.
