Crime statistics
Crime statistics in 2023 show an increase in violent crime, notably theft, assaults and battery, narcotic drugs and child defilement. In 2023, there was a spike in fraud crime overall with 5,852 investigated cases compared to 2,844 judged cases.

The number of spousal harassment and breach of trust cases all went down between 2021 to 2023. Figures for use of threats crime specifically, are lower in 2023 than the figures for 2022.
Court statistics
Between 2021 and 2024, new genocide-related cases that have been judged by the courts increased from 648 up 853 cases respectively.
